Hizballah, Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas Fatah, and Jimmy Carter

Much like the US, Israel is also at war with terrorism.  Their are numerous countries that would like to see Israel wiped from the earth.  Some of these countries are Iran, Syria, and Lebanon.  They all support a sepeate and soverign Palestine.  Palestine is currently in virtual civil war between Hamas(Islamic Resistance Movement) and Fatah(Palestinian Liberation Movement). In Israel's neighboring country of Lebanon their is the groop  Hizballah (Party of God).  Hizballah is also known as the Islamic Jihad for the Liberation of Palestine, they were the group that was shooting mortars and rockets into Israel not too long ago. Some background information on Hamas and Fatah, Hamas is the group that just one the Palestinian elections a few years ago by running on the platform of the elimination of the jewish state.  Fatah is not much better, they were formally controlled by Yasser Arafat. Hassan Nasrallah is in charge of Hizballah, he was once quoted as saying "There is no solution to the conflict in this region except with the disappearance of Israel". Hassan Nasrallah (Hizzbalah), Hamas, Fatah, Iran, Syria, and Lebanon are very much for destroying Israel. The United Stated of America and Israel are allies, we have been for a long time, for the most part we see eye to eye on the war on terrorism.

Recently, Jimmy Carter (an ex US president) meet with leaders from Hamas. Hamas, a terrorist organization, that actively advocated for the elimination of one of our closest allies.  By him meeting with Hamas, he virtually met with Fatah, Hassan Nasrallah (Hizballah), Al-Qaeda, Iran, Lebanon, and Syria, because they all share the same ideals.  Talk about undermining US foreign policy and slapping our ally in the face. They should make a law that ex-presidents should be barred from meeting with foreing leaders, or it would constitue an act of treason.  Come on Mr. Carter we are at war with terrorism, there has been 4,000+ military deaths in Iraq. Even more casualties when you take in account Afghanistan and 9/11.  You don't need to make matters worse in an already unpopular war. The military deaths in Iraq keep on climbing, and here he goes meeting with Hamas. Not to be redundant but Hamas, Hassan Nasrallah (Hizzbalah), Fatah, Iran, Syria, and Lebanon, are very much resposible for a lot of the military deaths in Iraq. This is unprecidented.  Unheard of. I call treason.
